To make our ambitious vision a reality we are looking for a Head of Web to enable and facilitate the development of a best-in-class web experience. The core of the role is to enable the delivery of optimized consumer journeys for our Direct Business, Partner business and Customer Services which drive conversion, engagement, retention and support. You will get to work together with the best minds in cyber security and cooperate with key stakeholders across the organisation. You will also have the ownership of our technology stack and tools.

As the Head of Web, you will be responsible for our Web team comprised of developers and designers. The Web team sits inside of the Central Marketing function which consists of Brand, Content, Social, PR and our in-house studio F-Create. This role is based in Helsinki.

Key responsibilities:

Enablement – You will be the owner of a service function (the web) which delivers requests and briefs from business owners throughout the organization enabling them to meet their goals.

Customer Experience – You will work together with our CX team to ensure alignment between the web and other customer touchpoints to ensure a seamless experience which lives up to our vision of being the #1 Security Experience Company in the world.

Direct Business (DB) – Our ecommerce business is around 80% of live activity across the site. Together with key DB marketers, you will participate in ensuring the best-in-class web journeys from arrival to purchase. The work includes, but is not limited to producing landing and campaign pages, articles, videos and blogs which are continuously tested and optimized.

Partner Business – Around 80% of our revenue comes from our partner business. Our Head of Web will develop an onsite destination for existing Partners and prospect Partners who seek more information on our solutions and services. For new business, the goal of this section is to create awareness of our solutions, interest in a partnership with F-Secure, and to engage with for more detailed discussions & demonstrations of capabilities via our Sales Representatives.

Brand Experience – The web is the most important touchpoint to deliver on our new positioning ’Brilliantly simple security experiences, making it easy to secure every digital moment’. Through the lens of our brand positioning, Head of Web will support business owners in this mission.

Content Experience – F-Secure produces a significant amount of multimedia content which raises awareness, builds credibility, converts, engages and retains. It ranges from in-depth, 40-page Threat Intelligence reports with accompanying films, podcasts and webinars, to simple blogs which drive daily traffic. To do this, Head of Web Lead works closely with F-Create (our in-house agency) to create destination pages which optimizes traffic on agreed KPIs.

Technology – When it comes to strengthening our technology capabilities you will work on maximizing the potential of our existing tech stack, while advising on new processes and tools which will optimize the CX, conversion, engagement, and retention throughout the site

People and Culture –As our Web lead you will have 5 direct reports who are SMEs in their own field. These professionals cover web development and design. A fundamental element of this role is to give direction and support the team while not being an SME yourself.

Stakeholder management – As an enabling function, clear and effective communication across the stakeholder network is key when ensuring they feel part of the process. Stakeholders across the business include e-commerce, Partner, Brand, Content, Customer service, People & Culture, Corporate development and Operations

Analytics and measurement – The web team will work alongside analytics teams withing business functions to track site performance.

Budget – Web lead will own and manage budget.

What are we looking for?

– 5+ years of work experience of running web teams and complicated cross functional projects either in Agencies or in house
– Deep experience of working with B2C e-commerce and digital support functions
– Line management experience of working with developers and designers, offering clear guidance and support driving positive eNPS results
– Demonstrate an understanding of web development, web architecture and technology – this is not a technical role, but a clear understanding of web technologies required to manage the team effectively and assess our tech stack are key
– Ability to codify and simplify complex problems, consider multiple solutions which can be presented to stakeholders
– You are comfortable working with change management and thrive in an autonomous work environment. You enjoy working with different stakeholders and influencing others by active communication and engagement. You are a team player by nature and consider your teams’ success your success.
