We are looking for an eCommerce Platform Product Owner to take ownership of our headless commerce platform. In this role, you will own the digital commerce solution as a product, and your focus is not a single storefront but the shared capabilities, integrations, and operating model that enable commerce journeys in multiple digital channels across B2C and B2B. We are seeking candidates with experience in eCommerce platforms, a strong understanding of headless architecture, and proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, and you will be a part of the Web & Commerce team and Commercial & Channels Domain.

Your key responsibilities include owning the end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Posti’s headless commerce platform, defining scaling phases and readiness criteria together with business and architecture stakeholders, and owning core commerce capabilities such as cart, checkout, pricing, orders, customers and related APIs. You will also lead integrations between the eCommerce platform and Posti backend systems, own platform-level non-functional requirements including security, performance, reliability and operability, and monitor KPIs and use data to guide improvements and development prioritization. In addition, you will define the platform operating model and support transition from project phase to run, support budgeting and resource planning at the solution and project level, and act as the primary product counterpart for architects and development teams.

To succeed in this position, we hope that you have proven experience in working with composable or headless ecommerce platforms for +3 years and applicable bachelor’s or master’s degree level education. We also expect you to have experience building and scaling commerce solution using platforms such as commerce tools, BigCommerce, or similar in both B2B and B2C environments, and a strong understanding of complex enterprise environments and cross-system integrations. You are vision-driven and focused on creating long-term value and confident to challenge initiatives that do not support platform sustainability, and you have understanding of frontend technologies and composable digital ecosystems, including headless CMS solutions such as Contentful, Sanity, or similar. We also hope you have experience with operating models, DevOps practices, security, and transition-to-run activities, that you are familiar with agile ways of working but can also manage project like initiatives when needed, and that you have fluent written and spoken English and Finnish language skills.
