Digital (Marketing) Strategy Manager
The Digital Strategy Manager plays a pivotal role in the execution of our Animal Health global marketing strategy. This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of digital strategies across our global portfolio, with a strong focus on translating global direction into impactful local execution across multiple EU countries.
You will drive strategic digital initiatives that support our marketing transformation, working closely with the Global Marketing team and in-country stakeholders.
This position reports to the Global Marketing Director for Animal Health and is based in Espoo, Finland. It is a permanent, full-time position, leading a team of 2 Digital Marketing Specialists.
Your key responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
– Develop and implement comprehensive digital strategies aligned with global marketing objectives.
– Translate global digital strategy into localized plans for multiple EU markets.
– Ensure alignment and integration of digital initiatives across functions.
Team Management
– Lead and mentor two Global Digital Marketing Specialists.
– Provide dotted-line leadership to multiple in-country digital professionals.
– Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Digital Execution & Optimization
– Oversee digital campaigns across social media, websites, and e-commerce platforms.
– Ensure consistent brand messaging and optimized user experience across all digital touchpoints.
– Monitor performance metrics and leverage data-driven insights to optimize strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement
– Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams, sales, and external partners.
– Present digital strategy updates and performance reports to senior leadership.

Our expectations
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications and experience level:
Education & Experience
– Degree or certification in Digital Marketing or a related field.
– Minimum 5 years of experience in digital strategy development and execution.
– Proven experience in managing teams and leading cross-functional projects.
Skills & Competencies
– Strong knowledge of digital tools and platforms (e.g., CMS, CRM, analytics, social media, e-commerce).
– Ability to use metrics and analytics to inform decisions and drive performance.
– Experience working in a global matrix organization and across multiple EU markets is highly desirable.
– Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
– Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
– Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable working style.
