Full Stack Developer
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our New Business -team in Euroclear Finland’s IT department for a permanent position.
This role has strong front-end focus, and you will take true end-to-end ownership of solutions, with a particular emphasis on building high-quality, secure and user-friendly client-facing interfaces.
This position suits a developer who values engineering excellence, meaningful impact, and professional autonomy, and who enjoys solving complex problems in a stable but continuously evolving environment contributing to systems that are critical to the Finnish and Nordic financial markets.
You will join an experienced development team working at the intersection of technology, product development and financial market infrastructure lead by our Head of Development Services, Finland, Tommi Tarkiainen.

Your responsibilities
In this role, you’ll build and operate modern, long-lived systems where quality, reliability, and security are critical. Working closely with other developers, architects, product owners, and UX designers, you’ll deliver secure and scalable full-stack solutions, from user interfaces to backend services and deployment pipelines. Your work will support business-critical systems used daily by key market participants in a highly regulated financial environment.
In this role you will
– Design and build modern user interfaces with focus on usability, accessibility, performance
– Design and develop full stack software that fulfils functional and non-functional requirements.
– Implement necessary APIs, integrations, data flows.
– Take ownership of end-to-end delivery (design build test deploy operate)
– Develop and maintain automated tests
– Ensure performance, security, and reliability of solutions
– Work with container platforms and Linux-based runtime environments both on-premises and in cloud.
– Apply engineering best practices (maintainable code, reviews, CI/CD, documentation)
– Collaborate with product, UX, architecture and development teams
What We Are Looking For
– We are looking for a generalist software developer with a strong front-end mindset, who combines technical skills with a genuine interest in user experience and quality delivery.
– At least 5 years of hands-on experience in front-end development (React, TypeScript)
– Proven ability to build high-quality, user-centric interfaces in collaboration with UX/service designer
– Solid backend development skills (Java / Spring Boot)
– Knowledge of secure software development practices
– Experience with APIs and integrations
– Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright (or similar)
– Understanding of testing strategies and quality engineering
– Experience with containers and Linux runtime environments
– Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership-driven approach
– Good communication skills and fluency in English. Our working language is English. Fluency in Finnish is considered an advantage.
– Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
– Experience in financial or regulated environment
– Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g. Azure)
We are open to different experience levels and value both strong hands-on expertise and a growth mindset. You might already be an experienced professional or earlier in your career with solid foundations and the motivation to grow quickly in a complex, regulated environment. While this role offers support and collaboration, it requires enough practical experience to work independently and take ownership for your own deliverables from an early stage.
