Product Owner, Web Bank

We are looking for a driven product owner to head our online bank development in our Digital Customer Experience team in Aktia´s IT organisation. We are responsible for Aktia’s digital customer services such as mobile bank, web bank, but also for our internal digital tools that our sales and marketing use, such as CRM and digital sales tools.

Your role is to lead the development roadmap and strategic projects for Aktia’s web bank for both consumers and businesses in good cooperation with our stakeholders and partners. This role will also include a special focus to drive the development of all digital services for Aktia’s corporate customers.

What you will be doing:
– Planning and visualizing development roadmaps for web bank with business and IT stakeholders as well as prioritizing both major and minor development.
– Keeping track of development budget.
– Leading our strategic projects for web bank.
– Driving development of all digital tools for Aktia’s corporate customers.
– Being aware of all Aktia IT development to understand dependencies.
– Defining the development needs and hands-on user testing.
– Coordinating tasks and deliveries internally and with our trusted partners.
– Ensuring that deliveries and goals are met on time.
– Communicating and co-operating daily with internal and external stakeholders.

Needed experience and skills:
– Experience in developing customer facing web services in PO role, preferably in banking
– Understanding of banking business and regulation
– Experience in digital service development especially for corporate customers
– Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Prioritization skills
– Understanding of web technologies
– Experience in gathering requirements and documenting specifications
– Several years’ experience in digital banking development and digital operations
– Vision on how to develop web bank in the best way in a complexed environment
– Experience in key roles in successful IT projects, preferably previous experience of product ownership role
– Excellent understanding of business processes and IT development
– Experience in working with agile methodologies and Jira
– Academic degree in relevant field
– We expect a good candidate to be able to work both in Finnish and English
