Product Architect, Customer Digital Channels
As a Product Architect at KONE IT, you will shape the technical design of applications that power KONE’s customer-facing digital channels. Your responsibilities include aligning the technical design with long-term business goals, KONE IT strategies, and solution strategies. Working collaboratively with Enterprise Architects, you will contribute to defining the vision for an integrated solution landscape, spanning multiple teams and addressing significant technical complexities within the enterprise architecture.
You can work hands-on but also are able to collaborate and influence other development teams to build the applications with the right set of technologies.
Your responsibilities and key activities
– Define architecture frameworks and technology stack guidance for customer-facing digital solutions.
– Support business stakeholders in selecting capabilities that align with our enterprise architecture vision.
– Identify and define critical architectural requirements across products, ensuring quality, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
– Guide development teams with deep technical expertise, helping them build modular, reusable, and high-performing components.
– Establish and maintain standards, tools, and design techniques to promote performance and consistency across digital channels.
– Advocate for architectural best practices and coding standards within the domain of customer digital products.
Requirements for the role
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
– Strong application development background with in-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle.
– Minimum 10+ years of experience in solution architecture and design, with proven ability to model complex B2B and B2C systems.
– Ability to effectively bridge business and technology needs, translating stakeholder requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
– Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and lead technical discussions.
– A solution-oriented mindset, actively seeking solutions and driving projects forward.
– Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, with hands-on experience in key technologies and platforms such as JavaScript frameworks (React, Node, Angular), AWS Cloud, APIs, Microservices, Databases (Postgres, MongoDB), and DevOps practices.
– Experience with cybersecurity principles and data compliance aspects
– Practical experience with agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP.
– Experience in working in an international environment with the ability to perform in virtual organizations.
– Highly motivated team player with a service-oriented mindset, enjoying consulting and co-creating solutions.
