Marketing & E-Commerce Manager
TOOLS Finland Oy is looking for a Marketing & E-Commerce Manager to lead the combined marketing and e-commerce function in Finland. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for the overall digital sales and marketing, and for driving profitable growth.
In this role, you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution while strengthening both local operations and Nordic collaboration. You will work closely with Sales, Category Management, partners, and colleagues in other countries to build a seamless and consistent customer journey.
Basic information: Office location is Konala, Helsinki. The work model is predominantly on-site, with one agreed remote day per week. Travelling includes occasional Nordic meetings, with a maximum of approximately three per year, as well as occasional fairs or events. The employment type is a permanent, full-time role, and the preferred start is as soon as possible.
The role is part of a multi-functional organisation of approximately 30 professionals. You will lead a team of three marketing and e-commerce specialists and work closely with sales, category management, Nordic teams, and selected external partners. The role requires hands-on leadership, clear prioritisation, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
As the Marketing and E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for the comprehensive development and performance of the e-commerce and marketing functions in a practical and goal-oriented manner. Your task is to ensure that the online store functions as an effective sales channel and that marketing activities concretely support sales growth and profitability in line with the Group’s goals and guidelines.
Your key activities and responsibilities include leading, coaching, and supporting the marketing and e-commerce team, as well as developing e-commerce and marketing in line with the company’s objectives. You will develop e-commerce content, campaigns, visibility, and conversion performance, and plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing activities across channels. You will analyze customer and sales data to drive continuous development initiatives, monitor budgets and KPIs to ensure performance and profitability, and prepare, implement, and follow up on the marketing and media plan. In addition, you will execute annual and partner campaign plans, coordinate and collaborate with media agencies and other external partners, and collaborate closely with sales, internal teams, partners, and group stakeholders. The role also includes defining and prioritizing e-commerce development needs, implementing new digital tools, methods, and ways of working, and acting as a marketing and e-commerce expert while providing support across the organization.
We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in digital marketing and e-commerce, as well as experience in omnichannel B2B business, although B2C experience is also relevant. We expect experience in monitoring and developing marketing performance and KPIs, at least 3–5 years of leadership experience, and the ability to work in a matrix and Nordic organisation. Experience working in a hands-on environment with multiple priorities is important, along with strong collaboration and communication skills in Finnish and English.
In terms of personal qualities, we are looking for someone who is proactive and self-driven, with strong analytical thinking skills. You should be structured and able to prioritise effectively, development-oriented and solution-focused, and able to say no constructively when needed. A coaching-oriented leadership style is important, as is the ability to combine operational execution with business-level thinking.
This role offers broad responsibility and visibility across marketing and e-commerce in a Nordic organisation, with strong local ownership and a genuine opportunity to influence how marketing and digital sales are developed in Finland. You will play a central role in strengthening brand awareness, developing own digital channels, improving marketing automation utilisation, and enhancing cross-Nordic collaboration. Clear goals combined with the freedom to influence your own work create a strong foundation for impact.
