Solution Architect
As a B2B Solution Architect, you will join the Sanoma Tech&Data organization and drive the Solution architecture of our B2B Total TV & Audio advertising ecosystem. We are developing further digital advertising ecosystem in a close co-work with our News & Feature and Entertainment units to grow up the digital sales, transforming Linear TV (FTA) to video views and extending advertising audiences and reach. Total TV & Audio Team is responsible for the advertising ecosystem for Total TV (combining Linear TV and video), Radio & Ruutu/Supla B2B advertising. Ecosystem include e.g. advertising buying self-service channels, campaign bookings, campaign optimization, measurement across the audience reach and customer campaign reporting. Sales and Customer Success, excellent utilization of the data and API driven modular SaaS low-code/no-code architecture are examples of our key architectural drivers.
As a senior-level technical expert, the Solution Architect leads the design, development, and delivery of complex software solutions across the B2B Total TV & Audio ecosystem. With extensive experience in software engineering, the Solution Architect is a recognized leader and mentor, adept at:
– Navigating the media industry’s unique challenges and opportunities.
– Crafting innovative, customer-centric architectural visions for both short-term and long-term goals.
– Translating business strategy into actionable technical architecture visions.
– Supporting Lead Developers with domain architecture principles, design, and delivery.
Role Expectations:
– Own and align the technical vision architecture of Total TV & Audio area solutions with business goals and quality standards.
– Optimize development speed, productivity, and cost-efficiency through the identification and evaluation of technological solutions.
– Ensure success in strategic projects and development, driving innovation and best practices in software engineering.
– Collaborate with lead developers, product owners, stakeholders, and other engineers to deliver high-value features and solutions.
– Provide technical guidance, feedback, and support for the professional growth and development of other engineers.
– Communicate effectively with internal and external networks, manage technical risks, and build a scalable, reliable, and secure Total TV & Audio advertising platform for Nelonen Media brands.
– Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the software industry and evaluate their applicability and suitability for Sanoma Media Finland.
Required Skills:
– Diverse Technical Expertise: 8+ years of experience across various technical ecosystems and industries.
– Strategic Vision and Problem-Solving: Proven ability to anticipate challenges, tackle complex issues, and make pivotal decisions.
– Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SaaS/PaaS platforms and low-code/no-code environments like Salesforce and Microsoft Azure.
– Technical Skills and Data Acumen: Proficient in basic coding (SQL, RestAPI, .Net MVC, JavaScript) and managing customer journey data flows using AI.
– Integration and Customer Experience: Expertise in orchestrating large-scale ecosystems, designing architectures for optimal customer experiences, and adapting to agile development practices.
– Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
– Innovation and Creativity: A penchant for innovation, with the ability to leverage emerging technologies to drive the media industry forward.
– Finnish language is quite important due to nature of Finnish media.
– Media Industry Insight is beneficial: Familiarity with the media landscape, including regulatory compliance and audience engagement strategies.
