Team Manager, Content Management Systems
We have identified Content Management Systems to be one of our next focal development areas and are now looking for a Team Manager to join our Digital Operations department’s leadership team.
Your and your team’s main focus is to take ownership and be accountable for CMSs at Elisa; ensure and run their day-to-day operation, create vision of future direction, turn it into a roadmap and eventually into concrete actions. To help in executing the vision you are expected to hire a small team around Content Management System development and act as the manager of the team. We also expect that you have a hands-on attitude to writing code, genuine interest in making our Content Management machinery truly world-class and can-do attitude towards the tasks and challenges that you may face during the quest.
What to expect when working in this position? Setting and executing a vision requires a lot of collaboration but offers also a lot of freedom to choose where to focus and how. As this is a focal development area there is plenty of support across the Digital Services’ organization – you’ll never be left alone with work.
Your closest stakeholders are based in Helsinki, Pasila. At this team we are following Elisa’s hybrid working policies.
What we expect from you:
– Solid understanding of Content Management Systems, especially Contentful. Understanding of other CMSs seen as an advantage.
– Proven leadership skills, both for individuals (people management) as well as for groups (e.g. towards a vision)
– Proven experience in technical program and project management
– Proficiency in coding with React, Python and Java. Knowledge of other programming languages, like Go, is considered an advantage.
– Practical working experience with on-prem Kubernetes, Linux, and hyperscalers (AWS/GCP)
– Ability to create software that follows best practices, implementing CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions) etc.
– Strong drive for results through collaborative attitude
– Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to identify what is essential and prioritize where to focus
– Excellent interaction skills and fluency in Finnish and English
