Social Media Specialist
As a Social Media Specialist at dentsu Creative, you will be at the forefront of shaping our clients’ digital presence. Reporting directly to the Executive Creative Director, you will have the opportunity to drive our social media and content strategy forward, influencing how our brands connect with their audiences online. We’re seeking a dynamic individual with a proven track record of managing social media channels, websites, and content streams. Your expertise will be crucial in executing impactful campaigns and fostering vibrant online communities.
Key Responsibilities:
– Build and execute the social media and content strategy, through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
– Create a sharp and relevant editorial calendar to be shared across digital channels, ensuring a regular beat of quality storytelling and real-time content.
– Manage the day-to-day publishing and scheduling of content across all social networks (text, images, video, HTML, etc.).
– Plan, execute, and report on targeted paid social campaigns, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize performance and increase the visibility of the company’s social content.
– Comprehensive understanding of different channels (requirements, what is going on generally).
– Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.
– Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
Qualification:
– Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Creative, or a related field.
– Proven working experience (2-3+ years) in social media marketing, preferably in a similar industry.
– Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and paid social campaigns.
– Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling content tailored to different audiences (photo/video/text).
– Analytical mindset with the ability to drive insights from data and adjust strategies accordingly.
– Basic knowledge of web design, SEO/SEM.
– Fluency in Finnish, English / Adequate Swedish is a plus.
– You have a genuine interest in social media marketing and always think social-first. You understand the importance of prioritizing social media platforms and strategies in marketing or communication efforts. You also have a creative mindset, like to come up with creative ideas, and are always staying updated on new trends.
