SEO Specialist

Role? As an SEO Specialist in our company, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing websites , enhancing their organic search visibility, and boosting rankings on search engine results pages (SERPs). Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough keyword research, implementing effective on-page and off-page optimization strategies, and analyzing website performance to drive targeted traffic and strengthen our online presence.

Tech stack? Proficiency in using cutting-edge SEO tools is essential for this role, such as, Google Search Console, SEMrush, BrightEdge , or similar platforms. Additionally, familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website development will give you an advantage in executing your duties successfully.

Location? We embrace a hybrid work approach and invite you to join us in our office in Helsinki for a few days per week. This allows for collaboration and meaningful connections with our talented team.

– To excel in this role as an SEO Specialist, we are seeking someone with the following qualities:
– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Finnish language and English. You have the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You possess the ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and draw actionable insights that will drive our SEO strategies forward.
– Experience with website analytics and reporting. You are well-versed in using tools and platforms to measure website performance, track key metrics, and generate insightful reports.
– Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling various tasks and priorities with ease while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

WHAT’S THE JOB LIKE?

As an SEO Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
– Conducting keyword research and analyzing content for optimization.
– Implementing on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
– Technical SEO & creation of Jira tickets.
– Monitoring website performance and generating insightful reports.
– Aligning work with the central SEO strategy.
– Collaborating closely with stakeholders from various departments eg Marketing, UX, Product/Tech, Insights & Analytics.
– Developing business cases and pitching SEO improvements.
– Staying updated on industry trends.
– Providing ad hoc support to the SEO team.
