QA Test Specialist (digitoimistoon)
Get ready to break websites and applications (but in a good way)! We are looking for a QA Test Specialist to join our team. As an experienced QA tester, you ensure that the quality, user-friendliness, and accessibility of the web services and applications we create are on a top-notch level.
As a QA tester, you will be a part of a collaborative work environment where you will work closely with project managers, developers, marketing professionals and designers to test web services. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about testing and wants to make a real impact on the success of our projects.
Your everyday work involves testing websites and applications on different devices and software, accessibility and performance testing, reporting key findings to the project team, as well as maintaining and refining test plans. You may also write user instructions for clients. Depending on your preferences and experience, the job may also include training clients on how to use their website.
We hope you already have some experience in testing web services or relevant education. Our goal is to automate as much of the testing processes as possible in the future. You will play a key role in this – you may have previous experience in automating testing processes, or perhaps you are eager to expand your knowledge of the subject and apply it to practice.
We have cozy offices in downtown Helsinki and Turku and we’re hoping to meet you face-to-face from time to time. Other than that, you are free to work wherever you want in Finland!
You will succeed in the role if you have:
-Relevant education and/or some work experience in a similar role
-Interest and knowledge in testing, automation and coding, and a basic understanding of code
-Skills in end-to-end testing and visual regression testing
-Technical abilities to use different tools for error detection
-A basic understanding of technical SEO
-The necessary communication skills to work with both project teams and clients
-Precision and a systematical, independent approach to work
-Fluent English (our company language)
-Fluent Finnish is a plus
-Any experience in accessibility testing is a plus as well!
It’s not all work and no play here – we value a good work-life balance and encourage our team to have fun and be themselves. We offer you a full-time role that adapts to your skills and wishes, flexible working hours, a fun and collaborative work environment, great employee benefits, and professional growth and development opportunities.
We are primarily looking for a full-time employee. We hope you can start working as soon as possible.
The salary range for the position is €3000-€3500/month. The salary can be influenced by various factors, including your experience and seniority, and there may be room for negotiation.
