Full Stack Developer
As a Full Stack Developer at Marimekko you get to work with meaningful projects and the best commerce solutions to boost global business growth. The role of Full Stack Developer is mostly about finding and developing future-proof solutions for various business problems, either independently or as part of a cross-functional team. Scrum meetings and huddles with the internal and external team members, to align, agree on weekly priorities and to ensure continuous improvement, are part of your everyday work.
Responsibilities:
– Build both front-end and back-end of the software in cloud environment, from hands-on programming to deployment and making sure that the solutions actually work in real environment and provide business value
– Collaborate with business stakeholders to make sure that the solution matches business needs
Optimizing Commerce Applications:
– Ensure fast, scalable, and responsive commerce applications by decoupling front-end and back-end technologies
– Use API-first principles, integrate performant third-party tools, implement microservices, work with various databases from in-memory to NoSQL to analytical, and employ real-time monitoring and analytics tools
Ensuring Speed of Innovation and Code Quality:
– Automate and maintain CI/CD pipelines
– Conduct unit, security, and integration testing
– Ensure rapid deployment of new features
– In this role it is essential to build great customer experiences, driving innovation, ensuring technological and architectural quality, and contributing to the overall success of the digital commerce platform in alignment with global business growth objectives.
Qualifications:
– We hope that you have a solid understanding of what good and modern software development looks like. As a Full Stack Developer you should possess a diverse and modern skill set across various domains of digital commerce development, including proficiency in front-end (React, Next.js, JavaScript) and back-end (Node.js, Python, C#) programming languages, cloud platforms (Azure), containerization and container platform tools (Docker, Kubernetes), API development, web security practices, DevOps, version control (Git), and testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end). Knowledge and hands-on experience of composable commerce is considered an asset.
