Frontend Developer
Right now, we’re looking for mid- to Senior-level Frontend Engineers to join our team. If you want to help us make running a business a little easier, Holvi is for you.
Build a better future for small businesses
As a (Senior) Frontend Engineer, you’ll join one of Holvi’s development teams. Each development team has its own developers, designers and a product owner. Teams work on building new features, implementing technical improvements and maintaining the applications. As part of our interview process, we’ll explain what is in each team’s backlog in more detail and chat about which one might fit you best.
A typical day could see you:
– Participating in the design, implementation and review of technical fixes or major new features relating to Holvi’s web interface, including its styling
– Working with the cross-functional development team in dailies, refinements, planning and retrospective meets
– Planning the product’s future together with a product owner, designers and engineers
– Designing the architecture of the frontend applications
– Improving the technical stack by refactoring or upgrading packages and components
This is for you if you:
– Love building frontends for the web in a concise and proper way
– Like to write readable, maintainable code and design reliable, performant solutions
– Have a solid understanding of how a web application is built
– Have a keen eye for visual details
– Consider a user-centric approach a good way for developing a product
– Can refine requirements in an iterative and collaborative manner
– Want to work in an open team setting, where everybody is easily approachable
– Know how to communicate clearly, in plain language
– Are proficient in English, both spoken and written
It’s a plus if you:
– Are familiar with Vue and Typescript
– Have experience working in a large codebase
– Have experience from banking, accounting or other fintech areas
– Have experience developing WordPress websites

Logistics
– This is a full-time position located at our Helsinki office
– We offer flexible working hours, with core office hours between 10:00 and 15:00 – the rest is up to you
Ideally, you’ll come to the office at least 2 days a week. However, if you’re located outside the capital area, we’re also willing to consider a fully remote position
