E-commerce Director
We are looking for a person that can lead our team in E-commerce; from strategy, planning, developing to execution. In this role you are responsible for e-commerce / online sales for the Fortum brand, both B2C and B2B across the Nordics. Being the largest player in the Nordics in our industry, we have more data than everyone else to create value from. As the Director of E-commerce you orchestrate all aspects of e-commerce, from strategy to execution, combining sales, marketing, technology and leadership expertise to create a superior brand and buying experience for customers.
More information about the role and responsibilities:
– Ultimately, you are responsible for driving online sales, profitable online sales, and thereby digitalizing sales overall within the Consumer Solutions business unit within Fortum.
– The online sales responsibility is holistic, encompassing both new customer acquisition and upsales of value-adding and digital services to the customer base, mainly via app and web, logged in.
– You are the business owner of our web, a key sales channel and touch point for all customer journeys.
– In the role you are the owner of the digital e-commerce strategy reassuring growth in this channel year on year. This includes collaboration with internal stakeholders within Marketing, E-commerce and – Customer Communication as well as other business areas and business functions, including Nordic – Customers (our sales / service team) and Digital Customer Offering (our technology / development team).
– You have the overall budget for performance marketing, growth hacking and conversion rate optimization and related partners / agencies.
– In the role you are responsible to lead a Nordic team of e-commerce professionals to effectively help develop and execute e-commerce solutions.
– You are also responsible for our online analytics and consent setup.
– You will report to the VP Marketing, E-commerce & Communications of Fortum Consumer Solutions.
You will be located at our campus in Espoo.
About you
If you are our future E-Commerce Director, then you are a person that has extensive experience of being a leader in digital sales. You should be performance-driven with a proven track-record of driving digital sales. You are also digitally native with deep experience from and knowledge of digital sales and marketing. We also expect you to fulfil most of the expectations below:
You have minimum 5 years of leadership experience within digital sales/e-commerce
A great team builder with successful experience of cross border team building
Tech-savvy, experience from digital development and personalization at scale meriting
Analytical and data-driven
Commercial and strategic mindset
You have an academic degree within relevant field such as business, marketing and/or communication
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Finnish
