Are you an experienced UX Designer with knowledge of process automation? We are now looking for a UX Designer (Temporary) for a fixed-term position of 9 months (from April to Dec 2024) to help develop Business Process Automation (BPA) across the value chains in Nordea.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Business Process Automation team. We are +100 colleagues who add value to Nordea employees and Nordea’s customers by driving the automation of business processes across the bank’s value chains.

As the UX Designer, you will play a valuable role in driving this change. The role will sit in the space between business and technology. The key for you to succeed is therefore strongly linked to your ability to quickly learn and understand our users’ needs and platform (Pega – a low-code platform for AI-powered decisioning and workflow automation) constrains and convert that into a user’s future experience which is intuitive and supports the flow of the business processes.

On a daily basis, you will work on workflow automation projects, designing enterprise banking solutions for complex processes and products in Nordea. While working side by side with other designers, business stakeholders, architects, and developers. We are looking for someone who is curious to work with international teams and think critically to deliver customer experience through empathy.

Projects will range from large scale end-2-end projects covering multiple business areas and external vendors to smaller projects where we fix targeted pain points at speed.

What you’ll be doing:

– Design enterprise UX application for responsive web platform, ensuring the design is capturing the business requirements
– Utilize the standard (Pega) design system and guidelines, ensuring a consistent look & feel. Help the project team in establishing Pega Center of Excellence (CoE)
– Work in close collaboration with design lead, project manager and other stakeholders to help improve ways of working and elevate the value-added aspect of UX to the business
– Stay updated on interaction design trends, tools, and best practices
– Share your views to collaborate and bridge the gap between project teams

– Expertise in Interaction Design: You understand the nuances of user interaction design, ensuring every touchpoint is intuitive and user-centric
– Effective communication skills, including presentation skills and ability to explain design decisions
– The ability to be well-organized, independent and a curious self-starter with a proven capacity in enabling and producing high-quality design

A collaborative mindset:
– You are willing to learn and understand the broader landscape, appreciating that your design contributions are pieces of a larger puzzle
– You integrate your work into bigger objectives by embracing collaboration, ensuring alignment and constructive collaboration across projects

Your experience and background:
– 3+ years of digital product design experience (enterprise UX / software could be beneficial)
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in art, Design, HCI or a related field
– Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and digital technologies
– Good understanding of UX and UI design, digital trends
– Ability to create user flows through detailed sitemaps, wireframes and related documentation
– Skills to rapidly iterate designs and prototypes in Figma
– Experience in applying and documenting Design Systems to your work
– Comfortable facilitating meetings and sprints (online & offline)
– Fluent in English (professional level)
