Digital Product Designer, S-kaupat

In this role you will be developing S-kaupat user experience for both the web shop and mobile app. You will work as a part of our product design team ensuring there is coherent UX logic throughout the service as well as optimizing its usability. But it does not stop there: you will have an important role in turning our S-kaupat vision into a tangible user experience. You are able to speak, challenge and confidently move things forward in a diverse S-kaupat team.

The S-kaupat team of 14 designers includes service designers, content designers and product designers, all working as a part of cross-functional squads arranged around customer journey.

Your role in a nutshell:
– Develop S-kaupat UX in close collaboration with other product designers – you design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, interaction, content and navigation structures as well as the production-ready visual appearance and user interface of the service
– Your daily tasks include translating customer feedback and insight into functionality that generates customer and business value
– Sketch and prototype fast, communicate your ideas effectively based on research and data and produce implementation ready layouts
– Focus on retention and customer loyalty as key drivers for design decisions
– In order to succeed in this position, we believe you should have:
– Significant experience in similar tasks supported by a strong portfolio
– Excellent knowledge of design tools such as Figma
– Skills to design any platform: responsive web, Android, iOS
– Knowledge and basic skills in accessibility
– Experience working with design systems
– Familiarity with agile ways of working and tools, and ability to apply them in the design work
– Passion to utilize data and customer insight in design work, create quick wireframes and prototypes based on those
– Excellent collaboration skills in functional team
– Self-driven approach and ability to negotiate with various stakeholders
– Attention to detail and value for quality
– Strong interest in online grocery business, previous experience is a plus but not mandatory
– You communicate fluently in English
