Digital Channels Architect

Your position would be within Aktia’s IT in the Architect team. We are responsible of the overall enterprise and technology architecture across Aktia. Your role is to drive our digital channels architecture and support our application teams to implement well architected digital solutions in web and mobile. You will be part our architecture community who will support and work with you on different domains. Our working culture is relaxed and informal. We work independently but help each other whenever needed. We are service and solution oriented. We like team players who are willing to get their hands into tech and keep a finger on the pulse. We work agile and try to learn and improve our performance continuously.

Job description and responsibilities

You have a strong technical background and you are able to drive digital channels architecture and solution development. We are currently renewing our digital services architecture and solutions, so now is time to effect on our technology choices.

You will work closely with application teams and other architects on designing our digital solutions that will implement modern and customer centric approach in both web and mobile. You push yourself to create cost efficient, scalable and reliable architectures that meet the security requirements of a bank. You are not afraid to challenge existing ways of working to increase the level of automation and reduce complexity in the operating environment. Although you may have born in the cloud, we still have on-premise backend environments you are required to understand hybrid solutions.

As an architect we expect you to work closely with business and technical teams identifying business needs, handle complex entities and the bigger picture. You also are able to balance between planning the short and long term, often in a hectic context switching environment. You make sure that our solutions serve our customers, both internal and external, in a best possible way and are technically reliable, efficient, easily maintained and secure.

You will get support and sparring from a network of professionals and from the architects of other business areas.

What is expected

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Channels Architect to join our team who is passionate about crafting great digital solutions and have a proven track record in architecting demanding mobile and web applications. Previous experience in security critical services is required and banking or financial services would be beneficial.

As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital presence of our company. We expect from you experience in modern frontend technologies and development practices, along with a deep understanding of the latest trends in user interface design and user experience optimization. Experience in backend integration patterns is essential in real world applications in finance space.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and influence the architectural decisions for our digital channels, ensuring they align with our business objectives and deliver exceptional user experiences. As an architect you expect you to be analytic and organized and capable of communicating your vision to various stakeholders.
