Green Planet Astronauts is seeking an experienced Full-Stack WordPress/WooCommerce Developer to join the space squad. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the website and web applications. You will work in close collaboration with the marketing team to implement innovative solutions to reach new customers and ensure an optimal user experience for existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Development:
– Take the full ownership of developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress themes and plugins on WooCommerce to maximize growth.
– Implement responsive web design principles to ensure the website is mobile-friendly.
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the website.

Front-End Development:
– Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code using PHP.
– Collaborate with the marketing team to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

Back-End Development:
– Create and maintain databases, including optimizing and ensuring data security.
– Develop server-side logic using PHP or other relevant back-end technologies.

Integration:
– Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance website functionality.
– Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.

Performance Optimization:
– Identify and address performance bottlenecks for improved website speed and user experience.
– Conduct regular testing and debugging to optimize website performance.

Security:
– Implement security best practices to safeguard the website and user data.
– Stay updated on the latest security trends and proactively address potential vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a focus on WordPress.
– Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
– Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) is a plus.
– In-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, best practices, and coding standards.
– Familiarity with database management and optimization.
– Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
– Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
– Strong collaboration and communication skills.
– Ability to build teams is a plus.

Education and Experience:

– Expert knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce programming (i.e building plugins and extensions from scratch).
– Minimum 3-5 years experience and solid understanding of WordPress and WooCommerce eCommerce platform development.
