We are looking for a trainee to join our analytics team to learn the state of the art in managing marketing performance. Curiousity, a humble attitude and focus on delivering impact will take you far.
Annalect is the Data, Technology, Analytics and Consulting division of Omnicom Media Group (OMG), sitting as a foundation of expertise. We operate both at the centre of OMG, as well as, embedded in the individual agencies OMD Finland and ToinenPHD. At the Centre, we manage all of our development, data management and deep technical expertise to support our client embedded teams, and in the agencies, manage individual agency client projects.
The digital analytics trainees will work in close co-operation with the people in Annalect and will have the opportunity to grow into an expert in the chosen field. You will be deployed into real-life customer cases from the start, supporting top Global and Finnish brands in growing their business. You will have an opportunity to see the whole spectrum of the marketing process: from data and analytics to executed campaigns and creatives. You will also benefit from hands on training from you colleagues and our group wide development program. On top of Annalect, you will be a part of the OMG Finland family with around 200 employees.
In a Nutshell
The role assumes you are a graduate or close to graduating. Ideally you already have some experience in your main field of interest – it can be from working, from school projects or recreational activities. You will be working with digital analytics and/or data science projects. You will be helping more senior people in their projects and also be assigned your own projects already during the trainee period.
The most important thing is that you have an entrepreneurial attitude, a sound analytical mind-set and the ambition to grow to be the best in your field. You will be given support from more experienced colleagues, many development opportunities, and will have the opportunity to gain a full-time job. The placement of the position is in the center Helsinki.
Skills & Requirements:
•0–2+ years of relevant professional experience
•Experience working in research, analytics, consulting or marketing development environment is desirable, although not required
•Analytical mindset with knowledge and passion for marketing, data, and technology
•Creative thinker that is willing to challenge the norm
•Proactive individual with strong problem solving skills, a positive attitude, and entrepreneurial spirit
•Excellent oral and written communications skills in Finnish and English
•A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

•Tag management solutions (Google Tag Manager, Adobe DTM)
•Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
•Programming and databases (PHP, MySQL)
•Conversion optimization and testing tools (Hotjar, VWO, Optimizely, Google Optimize)
•Dashboard visualization tools (Google Data Studio, Klipfolio, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI)
